Gosia Bolwijn-Wiese
Her personality is as bright as her favourite subject: the colourful happiness of tropical fish. Her first paintings received positive reviews, and shortly after that several galleries in the Netherlands and abroad constantly have paintings of Gosia in stock.
Gosia paints in a sparkling way, always attracting the viewer. Once it is the hidden humour in the subject sometimes it is the title that makes you smile but always the the paintings are of high quality.
In almost all paintings she uses metal foil to strengthen the subject. This makes the scales shine as if they were really reflecting the light. Subscription of her work is always “Małgorzata Wiese”, her maiden name.
Works of Gosia can also be seen at the October version of the Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam at the stand of GO Gallery. This year for the second time Gosia will participate in the Allianz art collection.
