Saturday 21st of March, to coincide with the beginning of Spring, GO Gallery will present its latest brainchild, the exhibition < € 555, showcasing original artworks up to 555 Euros.
The Affordable Art Fair ( AAF) held at the Westergasfabriek in November 2008, showed that art sales had risen by almost 44%, as compared to 2007.
Thus proving that the Dutch public was still interested in really affordable art.
For this particular exhibit, approximately 15 artists have let themselves be inspired by creating artworks that are affordable for a very large group of people. Most of the artists have been showcasing their work for a number of years at the Gallery already and in spite of them having adjusted their sizes to make them more accessible to all, the collection of their images have only become more powerful!
The participating artists: Lein Emmelot, Yvonne Zomerdijk, TLP, Tina Vila, Ton Leenarts, Michan, MDG, Florentijn Bruning, Alexander Smith, Laura Hoek, Marcel Verschoor, Arvee, Wilbert van der Steen, Karen Gillis, Tina Vila, Francesco Regalmuto Garrito, Irene Hertel, Mitko Zhelezarov, Marc de Vries, Sergey Engel.
For young interested art-collectors, this is a real opportunity to start their collection. For art lovers, a chance to add to their existing collection.

The opening will take place on the 21st of March on the Prinsengracht 64, between 5 and 8 pm. in the presence of most participating artists.
This exhibit will be on display until the 10th of May 2009.
