On Saturday August 15th, GO Gallery opened the Kosmopolite Art Tour, KAT. 
 

De Kosmopolite Art Tour is an international colaboration of 3 artists groups:
the "AerosolBridge Club", Amsterdam, "Farmprod", Brussel en 'Macrew' from Bagnolet, Paris.
 

They all come from diverse creative (strictly graffiti and/or studying fine arts, graphic design or illustration) and social backgrounds.
  
 

Each of the collectives is famous for itself in the street art scene and contains a high level of national and international artists. Almost each of the artists has over two decades of experience in painting/collaborating on large scale murals, participating in exhibitions (canvas, sculptures, prints, screen prints,...), Live Paintings, etc. all over the globe. More than 25 artists belong to all three collectives.  
 

The first idea of the Kosmopolite Art Tour came up in 2008 when the two collectives "Aerosol Bridge Club" and "Farmprod"  got invited to the legendary Kosmopolite Graffiti Festival which is held in Bagnolet, Paris since 2002 and is organized by the Macrew ever since then. Knowing each other for quite some years the three collectives decided to organize an art-tour together. Within each of the collectives   city/country an event will take place. Each event in each city contains painting a large scale mural, an exhibition and an event party. 
The Kosmopolite Art Tour  (KAT) starts in Amsterdam on saturday, august 15th with the opening of the KAT- exhibition in the GO Gallery. Each of the collectives will bring a selection of 5 artists with  paintings on canvas, sculptures, prints, screenprints,etc. ...
 
 

From august, 16th until 22nd the three collectives will paint the outside wall of the Cultural/Jongeren center 'De Valk' in Amtserdam Noord.
 
 

On august, 22nd the first round of the KAT tour will end with a party at 'De Valk'. 
  
 

The tour continues to Brussels in april 2010 and to Bagnolet/Paris in july 2010 with almost the same procedure in each of the two cities.
