‘Until the last Butterfly becomes Grey’, solo exhibition by Ard Doko, Dec. – Jan. ’22

Opening: Saturday December 11, 12 – 5 pm.
The artist will be present!
We adhere to the COVID-19 rules.
If you nevertheless do not want to attend the opening, you are welcome every day from Wednesday – Saturday, 12 – 5 pm.

For his second solo-exhibition at the GO Gallery, Ard Doko has created a new collection of paintings and a number of objects, including a series of unique, hand-embellished screen prints. Through this exhibition, the street artist takes the visitor on his quest to preserve childhood happiness as an adult. Through paintings, symbols and text, the artist shares the intimate moments of his life, but at the same time poses the question back to the viewer: “What is my childhood happiness?” An ode to an unsuspecting existence in the current era.

Between Christmas and New Year’s, GO Gallery will be open every day (27-31 Dec.)
Ard Doko himself will often be present at the GO Gallery to tell you about his new collection.

Right now we’re preparing the solo exhibition of Ard Doko.
Bruut Amsterdam shoot a film portrait of the artist today and will be on line next week.
The opening will be next week, Saturday 11 December.
